Pakistan ranks fifth in world-wide milk production

Dr. Murtaza Mughal, President of the Pakistan Economy Watch, said that Pakistan is among the third largest milk producer of Asia Pacific. While all over world it’s on fifth number in milk production, the encouragement of milk import from the government will develop the local sector while it will increase domestic and foreign investment. Asia dairy market worth $30 billion, in which part of Pakistan is more than six million crores. Dr. Murtaza Mughal said in a statement that there is no deficiency of milk-feeding animals in Pakistan, however, Buffalo-milk production is seven to eight times less than the developed countries.
