Livestock keepers instructed to do vaccination

Livestock department instructed livestock keepers to do vaccination in order to prevent diseases in goat, sheep and poultry. To protect animals from infectious diseases vaccination should be done according to the scheduled time. He said that vaccination in sheep and goat against PPR while vaccination against rani khait in poultry should be done on time.

In large animals such as buffaloes and cattle vaccination should be done against black quarter from November to February. Vaccination should be done according to the schedule time in order to protect livestock from various disease and infections. Vaccines protect companion animals and livestock against infectious diseases and ensure the provision of healthy and nutritious food such as eggs, milk and meat products.
