Laser land levelers are available for farmers with 4 crores subsidy

Faisalabad: As per Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif’s Kissan Dost policy 99 laser land levelers would be provided to the farmers in the second phase. For this purpose, farmers’ applications has been passed through a draw in a ceremony. Additional collector Muhammad Shahid and MPA Ch. Arif Mahmood Gil participated as the chief guests. This ceremony held in library hall of Ayub Agriculture Research Center. Many farmers along with Assistant Director General Agriculture Muhamamd Mansoor, D. O water management Dr. Muhammad Asif and other officers from various agricultural organizations. EDO Agriculture has told that full cost of the laser land leveler is 650,000 out of which Government of Punjab will share 450,000 and rest farmer will bear. He also shared that draw consisted of 291 farmers’ applications and every area has its own quota. As per this quota for tehsil sadar 25, Jaranwala 30, Samundri 16, Tandlianwala 19 and for chak jhumra 9 laser land leveler has been allocated. In the same District 343 laser land levelers have already been distributed with the subsidy amount of 15 crore 40 lacks.
