Fruits are damaged due to the lack of awareness of the gardener. Citrus should be transported to markets after its grading. To get more money, farmers harvest the fruits in the start of the season when the fruit is not fully matured that not only effects its functional but also its commercial maturity. Therefore the fruit is not developed completely and the color of citrus remains green. Due to its low quality, it can not get proper price in the market. So, packing every fruit separately and then placing them collectively in a carton is not only the best way to present fruit but it also increases its shelf life.
