Farmers have been directed to complete soybean cultivation in the first week of February, so that they can get better production due to timely cultivation. Soybean is a fruitful crop that can be used both as a vegetable or pulses, but now a days it is gaining importance as a grain crop.
If sowing of spring soybean is completed in the first week of February, it can give a better yield. It gives better yield, when grown on well drained, fertile loamy soils. pH of 6 to 7.5 is favorable for optimum yield of soybean. Water logged, saline/alkaline soils are not suitable for its cultivation. Low temperature affect crop severally.
