Farmers must harvest cotton after drying cotton bolls

Due to the moisture in the cotton, problems and difficulties are faced during the process of ginning, so the farmers should pick up cotton bolls after drying of the dew so that the cotton does not become dull. After picking cotton, it should be placed in dry clean muslin cloth and then stored in a clean high and dry place so that the cotton remains safe from pollution. Farmers should keep BT and non-BT varieties separate, so that moisture, raw tendons, ropes, twine, hair etc are not mixed with the cotton. All items must be hand -picked before the cotton is taken to the warehouse. In addition, sun drying of cotton is necessary for a couple of days so that moisture can be brought to the proper level.
