Ehsan Bhatta urged the need to enable farmers market in the entire Punjab to examine the performance of market committees in the agriculture house last day. He said that this step would give the farmers a reasonable compensation for their commodity. He was presiding over a review meeting of 37 model markets in Punjab. He said that pricing methods should be set up so that the desired goals can be achieved. In the fourth phase, the model markets which obtain better performance are, first position by Sumundri, second by Khanewal, third achieved by Bahawalnagar, where as in the category of fruits and vegetable model market, Phalia first, Jalalpur second and the third position received by Gujar khan. During the meeting letters were issued for the markets which were non-profitable.
